Summer Learning with Carson–Dellosa Activities Workbooks
Schools out for the Summer! Sheesh, this year went fast. My girls have been out of school since last Friday, though I know there are still a lot of schools in session. Thankfully the weather is finally starting to feel like Summer here in Indy. I feel like the Winter dragged on forever.
Along with Summer comes some “Summer learning loss”. As parents we never want our kids to lose anything they learned during the school year. To help with the transition to the new school year we will be doing some Summer learning using Carson–Dellosa Summer Bridge Activities Workbooks. I have seen a variety of learning books, but nothing quite like these.
These teacher-recommended, award-winning Summer Bridge Activities Workbooks help to prevent summer learning loss and prepares students for the school year ahead in just 15 minutes a day. Each grade-specific book is designed to help students review the essential skills of their current grade level and to prepare them for the next grade level. Josephine will be going into Kindergarten this Fall and we couldn’t be more proud of her.
As you can see, Josephine takes her Carson–Dellosa Summer Bridge Activities Workbook everywhere! Even to Sister’s soccer games. She genuinely enjoys doing the activities and I love to see her learning, even if she doesn’t know that’s what’s happening.
Josephine is lucky enough to have a great big Sister that helps her study. I love this bond that they share. They sit down together a few nights a week and go over her lessons. Nevaeh is a great teacher!
The Summer will fly by and Fall will be here before we know. The leaves will be changing and the kids will be back in school. Don’t let your kids suffer from the infamous Summer brain-drain.
What ways do you like to keep your kids learning during the Summer months?
