15 Easy Winter DIY’s
Do you feel like your constantly fighting the blues in the Winter? I’ve put together a list that’ll put a fun spin on the season this year! Make the most of Winter and try out one or two (or all) of these super easy DIY’s!
Revert back to your childhood art classes with this popsicle stick craft!
2.) Pom Poms
Use blue, white or gray tissue paper for a winter theme! They will look like snowflakes hanging.
3.) Glitter Fruit!
Glitter fruit – it’s even fun to say.
Even more fun!
5.) Pinecone Wreath
This wreath uses materials right from your backyard.
6.) Lighted Canvas
This canvas is so simply pretty.
7.) Kitten Mittens
These mittens are so cute, and you can make them out of an old sweater!
I’ll admit that I don’t know how to sew. So when something has no sew in front of it, it’s got my attention. I also don’t like getting my hand burned by coffee. Win-win.
These also use simple ingredients and will make your house (or wherever you’re having your fire) smell lovely.
10.) Handwarmers
Um..YES! Handwarmers are so helpful for winter activities like sledding, parades, snowman building, etc. It’s just hard to drop the money on them because they’re definitely not a necessity. Why not try making your own?
11.) Boot Cuffs
Another DIY from an old sweater, these are sure to spice up any outfit and keep your little legs warm too!
Peppermint is one of the smells that always reminds me of winter and Christmastime! These bath salts are sure to make you smell like a candy cane! (Only don’t eat them, or else you’ll turn into a zombie)
Say what? Sure it’s not the most practical thing for everyday use, but if you’re in a pinch and need to keep warm, this will be what saves you.
14.) Make Your Own Snow
If you don’t get snow where you live, or you’d like to keep your kids indoors if it’s super cold, you can always try making your own snow!
These would be absolutely perfect for hot chocolate on a chilly day!
