15 Last Minute (and CHEAP!) Halloween Costumes
So, if you dropped the ball on Halloween this year or just haven’t had time or the money to wrangle everyone up and take them to the costume store, this post is for you! Or, if the Halloween stores in your town are anything like mine, they closed on October 24th! Panic mode – what kind of Halloween store closes the week before Halloween? There aren’t many other places that will provide the variety that most kids need when they are searching for a costume. Here are some cheap, easy, quick, and unique last minute costume ideas if you’re in a pinch!
1.) The Flowerpot:
This costume consists of materials entirely from the dollar store – and it’s under $10 as a whole. But you can’t put a price on this cuteness! The costume takes less than an hour to make, and you can find the directions here.
2.) Ninja Turtle:
This adorable costume uses a roast pan as a turtle shell! It’s a great tutorial and it also doesn’t involve any sewing! Score!
3.) A Snail:
This costume involves a hot glue gun and some brown kraft paper – and it has great photos that show you everything step by step! Check it out here.
4.) Identity Thief:
This costume is a punny one. Head out to your local office supply store and get a bunch of name tags to complete this look.
