We’ve gotten accustomed to live with cameras around our home. Not only do we have them as part of our home security system, but we actually own a Levana Keera monitor kit, which we use every single day.
Working from home with kids during the day can be stressful. Not just because you have to juggle getting work done in your home office, kitchen or bathroom, but because you never really know what they’re up when they’re out of sight. And as you may know, it’s when they’re quiet that you should really be worried!
We recently had the awesome opportunity of testing the brand-new Levana Willow Baby Monitor, and it performs amazingly in so many ways! For starters, the handheld 5 inch high-definition touchscreen, relays a ton of information in vibrant colors, and the touch sensors are quite responsive, which makes it easy to operate like your smartphone.
One thing I really enjoy about the Willow, is that the touchscreen unit has a 12 hour battery, compared to just a couple of hours on our old set. Plus, the controls are much easier to operate, like the volume keys on the side, and the microphone button located on top.
While the Willow will most likely be used to keep a guardian eye on your little ones, the two-way audio function comes in handy with toddlers and older kids. For example, a lot of times I’ll talk to our 4 year old while she is in her toy room and I’m working upstairs. Also, the Willow features invisible LED night vision, temperature alerts and even plays 3 different lullabies and 2 nature sounds!
Technology has made a lot of things easier, and why not keeping our little ones safe and better connected with us at all times, as well. After all, that’s the best use for technology!
