Awesome Uses for Witch Hazel
I am a fan of all things natural and clean. I try to do everything myself before ending up with a store bought product. Not only is it cheaper, but it’s so much healthier. And let’s face it, we could all use a little help in that department. With so many chemicals and additives put in our food and household products, you never really know what you could be getting. Makes me cringe just thinking about it. This is one of many reasons I am such a fan of Witch Hazel.
Acne- Stop using those over the counter products to zap your zits. Go all natural by using Witch Hazel. Dab a small amount on the area and be amazed. The redness and swelling will go away almost instantly.
Dark circles– Have a long night? Clean up those dark circles using Witch Hazel. This helps to tighten the skin around your eyes, leaving them looking fresh and ready for the day.
Diaper rash- Who knows what’s in some of those OTC butt creams. Spread a little bit of Witch Hazel to your baby’s bum to help them get some relief. They will thank you
Poison Ivy- Ugh! Hate when that happens. Use Witch Hazel sparingly on affected area to help dry up rash and take away the itching. Sweet!
Bruises- Get into a small tiff? Maybe not, but if you are like me and bruise easily use Witch Hazel on them. You will heal so much faster. Works great for special occasions when you need to look great in a hurry.
Razor burn- Great tip! Especially in the summer months. Clear up razor burn quickly using a small amount of Witch Hazel. Dab on with a cotton ball and watch your red bumps and itchy skin disappear. Easy peasy!
Sun burn- Fall asleep in the sun again? Hate when that happens! Luckily, Witch Hazel has you covered! It will help heal your skin in half the time and prevent the awful skin peeling process. Awesome huh?
What great tips! I’ll need to pick up a bottle the next time I’m at Wal-mart! Thanks for sharing!
As a man, I’ve used Witch Hazel most of my adult life as an astringent immediately after shaving. Soothes wonderfully and no burn from after shave lotion which I apply after the Witch Hazel.
