Josephine’s 5th Birthday at BounceU
September 30th, my little girl turned 5 years old. I’m still beside myself as to how the heck that happened already, but here we are. We wanted to do something a little more exciting this year since she now has school friends and is at an age where she will remember her birthday parties. This year was going to be all about what she wanted!
Josephine is such a fun loving little girl. She is full of energy and has such a strong personality. What better way to celebrate the big 5 than with tons of bouncing. BounceU of Fishers (which is the closest location to our house) is full of giant obstacle courses, slides, games and more. All of the bouncy structures are different sizes so there really is something for all ages. Plus, they let the parents jump which is a huge added bonus.
We were able to bring out own piñata and they hung it on a rolling rack for the kids to all get a crack at it. I would have loved for it to have been hanging from the ceiling properly, but in the end it worked out just fine and everyone had fun.
There are 3 different rooms that are included in a Birthday package. The first 2 rooms are huge rooms full of inflatables which is timed out perfectly so the kids won’t get tired or bored with what they are jumping or playing on. The amount of time spent in each room depends upon the package chosen for your party. BounceU provides awesome staff members that walk around taking pictures, bouncing with the kids and to make sure things are going was smoothly as possible.
The third room is the party room. This is the room where you eat, have cake and do presents. No outside food or drinks are allowed unless you decide to bring your own cake. The rest of the food and drinks are ordered from a local pizza place. BounceU will also order a cake for you from Sam’s if needed.
Overall, we had a hassle free party. It was kinda like a “set it and forget it” type of deal. We reserved the party online with an estimated number of kids possibly attending, paid a deposit and showed up the day of the party. The staff took care of everything, including the serving of the food and the cutting of the cake.
