Throwing your teen girl a birthday party she will remember doesn’t have to be complicated. A mini spa day is exactly what she is looking for.
Nevaeh turned fourteen this year and we wanted to do something a little different for her this year. Since we are no longer planning princess parties we had to think outside the box. What is something she would really enjoy? That’s when we came up with the idea of treating her to a spa day.
I searched the internet for teen-friendly spas but kept coming up short. All of the spas I came across were either really adult-ish or tailored more for little kids. The adult spa packages were very pricey and included things that aren’t quite fit for a teen – such as a wrinkle reducing facial. More kid-friendly spas have glitter makeup and press-on tattoos.
And then I found Darling Divas! They stuck out from the rest with their awesome Teen Spa-rty package. Finally, a spa that “gets it.”
Nevaeh and her bestie were treated like queens. Their spa day was complete with pedicures, facials, manicures, photo shoot, kids champagne and a gift bag.
Josephine wasn’t up for having her nails painted, so they gave her some blocks to play with, so she stayed busy while the older girls relaxed.
Darling Divas has a wonderful space. It’s decorated beautifully and kept very clean. The walls are full of uplifting words and gold finishings. When you first walk in, you’re greeted with relaxing music and a gorgeous chandelier.
Once their pampering was complete they celebrated. Cheers to fourteen!

After meeting the owner and hearing her story of how Darling Divas came about, I loved them that much more. Be sure to give it a read.
