Get you’re motor runnin’… And make some Bunny Race Cars out of TWINKIES. This is the perfect recipe for a fun time with your littles just in time for Easter!!

This is what you will need:

bunnies-ingredients

– Twinkies
– 1 Bag of Wilton Melting Chocolates
– 1 Box of Peeps Bunnies
– 1 Bag of Marshmallows
– Chocolate Covered Pretzels
– Candy for the Center Caps of the Wheels (your choice)

Open the amount of Twinkies you wish to make

Cut the marshmallows in half, trying not to squish them. You want them to maintain their round wheel shape

Cut the bottom half of the bunnies off so that they “fit better” on top of the car

Place melting chocolates in a microwavable bowl and place in microwave melting chocolate in 30 second intervals

Poor (or dip) a small amount of melting chocolate over the Twinkie to evenly and fully cover the entire thing

Place in freezer to harden the chocolate faster

Add a small amount of the melted chocolate to the bottom of your bunny and place it on top of the “car” to hold them together

Do the same with your marshmallow wheels

Cut the bottom piece off the pretzels making a racing steering wheel appearance and “glue” it on with the melting chocolate

Place your shaped sprinkle in the center of the wheels, securing them with the leftover melting chocolate

That’s it!! I told you it was easy and your kids will LOVE them. Cute gift idea for all car lovers and race fans alike.
