Drop your pants for #Underwareness
I remember when I was younger my Grandma and my Mom always crossing their legs when they sneezed, laughed or coughed and I never thought twice about it. Until I was older that is. And when I laughed while asking why it was that my Grandma did such a thing I remember her saying “don’t laugh, one day it might happen to you.” Pfft, as if! I will never pee myself when I laugh.
Boy was I wrong! While pregnant with my second daughter I swear my bladder hated me. I couldn’t hold it to save my life. Ok. Fine. What pregnant woman doesn’t wet their pants once in awhile?
After giving birth, that’s when reality set in. I was still having accidents from time to time and I sure couldn’t hold it in like once did. There was no stopping it! When my bladder wanted to empty it emptied. I was so embarrassed and couldn’t figure out why this was happening. I had a lot more sympathy for my Mom and Grandma and was for sure Karma had gotten me.
Little did I know that Bladder Leakage is more common than I thought. Thankfully, help is here! I was always so embarrassed to even look at the Depend isle. Aren’t those just for old people. Nope! I recently found out about Depend Silhouette Active Fit briefs. They actually look like real underwear, but provide the protection you need. Look at these things! Would you think they could actually be attractive and come in 2 different colors? I know I didn’t!
Depend Silhouette Active Fit briefs have a lower rise for an underwear-like look, fit and feel. They fit great under my clothes and there is no bulk like I was expecting. Take a look:
They are a new moderate-absorbency brief that feature a thin design for complete comfort with the trusted protection of the Depend brand. I was really pleasantly surprised when I tried them on. I didn’t notice much of a difference. I thought I would feel like I was wearing a giant diaper but they actually felt pretty close to real underwear. And when I bend over, you can’t even tell that I am wearing anything different.
