I love how this fall centerpiece looks during the day and at night with the flickering candle in the middle. So gorgeous!
A fall centerpiece can be anything you want it to be. I’ve seen everything from an elaborate floral arrangement to a glass vase with things found in nature. I always prefer to make mine but only because I actually enjoy it. The best part about this fall pumpkin centerpiece is how easily it can be made, given any crafting level. Just remember to have fun when doing so!
What you will need:
- Styrofoam pumpkin from the dollar store
- Cream acrylic paint
- Fall flowers
- Battery operated candle
- Hot glue
With an xacto knife or some other cutting tool, cut a hole in the top of the styrofoam pumpkin – tracing the battery operated candle. This will ensure the hole is the exact same size of the candle.
Paint your pumpkin with the cream acrylic paint and let dry completely. This gives it a farmhouse or rustic look.
Once the paint is completely dry you can begin adding your flowers to the pumpkin with hot glue. I pulled the silk flowers off of their stems and glued them about an inch below the cutout.
Once you have placed your flowers accordingly, turn on the battery operated candle and insert into the middle of the painted pumpkin. Your easy fall pumpkin centerpiece is complete!
I told you it was easy. Plus, this project cost me right around $3.00 in total. Be sure to pin this project so you can have it save it forever.
