Easy Krispie Treat Bunnies

Rice-Krispie-Bunnies-Easter

 

If you are looking for an easy dessert idea, these Krispie Treat Bunnies are exactly what you’ve been looking for. 

Easter, birthday parties, baby showers or whatever you may be celebrating – these easy Krispie Treat Bunnies is exactly what your party needs. With just a few simple ingredients you can whip these cute little critters up in no time. All you need is some Krispy Cereal, butter, marshmallows, melting chocolate and a cute little bunny cookie cutter. Plus, you can make them gluten-free! 

INGREDIENTS

  • 6 cups Rice Krispy Cereal
  • 3 tbsp Butter
  • 10.5 oz Marshmallows
  • 1 cup pink Candy Melting Chocolate
  • 1 cup white Candy Melting Chocolate
  • Bunny cookie cutter


Krispy-Ingredients

DIRECTIONS

Grease a cookie sheet pan so the bottom and sides are completely coated. 

In a medium to large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.

Add the marshmallows and stir until completely melted together.

Bunny-Krispie-Treats

Remove from heat.

Add the Rice Crispies cereal and stir until cereal is well coated.

Add-Krispie-treats

Butter your hands and press mixture into prepared pan.

Krispie-Treats-Bunnies

Allow Krispies to set before cutting into bunny shapes.

Dip the tops of the bunnies in white (or dark chocolate) and set aside. The melting chocolate will harden quickly. Once set, you can begin to decorate. 

Place pink chips in the corner of a zippered sandwich bag.

Melt candy my microwaving for 45 seconds and kneading until melted and smooth.

Clip small corner of bag to pipe.

Use melted chocolate to accent each treat with a tie or pink tail.

Rice-Krispie-Bunnies
