If you have a busy toddler this is the activity for you. Though my kids are a little older now, I remember the days when everything they touched went into their mouths. This two-ingredient finger paint recipe is simple, fast and non-toxic. It’s a mix that you can feel comfortable with! I will admit it doesn’t taste the greatest, but at least if they try it, it’s not going to harm them.
This two-ingredient edible finger paint recipe is simple to make and you can pronounce every single ingredient. It’s a total win-win.
Supplies Needed:
– Sweetened condensed milk
– Food coloring
– Paper
– Fingers (or this works great with paint brushes as well)
Directions:
Add a small amount of sweetened condensed milk to a small cup; add a few drops of food coloring.
Blend well. The colors should be fully mixed.
If you would like to make more colors than just the primary colors that come in food coloring kits you can mix yellow and red to make orange and red and blue to make purple and so on. Get creative! Or let them mix their own fun colors.
This mixture is a little sticky but it cleans up nicely and doesn’t stain their clothes.
