Fall Bucket List – Fun Fall Activities for Families

Sep 29 by 2 Comments

Fall-bucket-list

Since our favorite season is finally here, I’ve come up with a fun activity that will ensure you have the best fall yet. Your kids will enjoy making this fall bucket list craft – just as much as you!

I enjoy making bucket lists per season. A little weird I admit, but it’s so fun! And instead of simply writing our list down on a plain piece of boring paper, I decided to shake things up for our fall bucket list. This year, we made an actual bucket to put our list in. How fun!

I managed to find all of the supplies at my local craft store (Michael’s) and paid less than $5 for everything shown. We sat down as a family to decide what should be on this year’s fall bucket list and got to work.

Now, it’s your turn to make your very own fall (literal) bucket list:

What’s needed:

  • Small Tin Bucket
  • 10-12 Small Popsicle Sticks—red, orange, yellow, natural
  • Popcorn Kernels
  • Black Marker
  • Small Chalkboard Sign
  • Chalk or Chalkboard Marker

Write one fall activity, that you and your family would like to do, on each popsicle stick.

Examples: Rake leaves, take a hayride, apple picking, etc.

Use the chalk or chalkboard marker to write “Fall Bucket List” on the little chalkboard sign.

Tis’ the season for being thankful! Though we should be thankful for our blessings year-round, something about the fall, especially November, makes us feel extra thankful. I decided this would be a great time to craft up this easy ‘Thankful’ Fall Decor. What a great reminder to all those who see!

I found this rectangular chalkboard at Target a while ago in their Dollar Spot, but you can use any picture frame to the chalkboard. It’s simple to turn any piece of wood or frame into a chalkboard with chalkboard paint. I buy mine from Walmart and get it for less than $3 a bottle. The best part of crafting is getting to make things unique to you!
