What if I could tell you that there is a way to give to your kids’s schools without spending any extra money at all? Well, that’s exactly what you can do with Bonus Box Tops.
We all know that schools across the country are in dire need of funding, and unfortunately that funding isn’t coming from the State or Federal level, and while I’m certainly not trying to be a Debbie Downer, I understand that we must do whatever is possible to help our schools as much as we can. After all, it’s about investing in our kids.
Another situation that is true, is that most families aren’t in the position to just reach into their pockets and donate money, so what exactly can they do to help. What can we all do to help? It’s simple!
Since 1996 over 80,000 schools in the United States have joined what is now one of the largest school earnings loyalty programs —Box Tops. Every single Bonus Box Top plays a vital role to your kids’s school, because every little piece of cardboard is worth a whopping 10 cents to a school, and sure 10 cents doesn’t sound like a whole lot, but just imagine the impact that General Mills consuming families can have if they all used their Bonus Box Tops.
How you can get involved
My three year-old daughter and I headed out to Walmart with one goal in mind —to find the yummiest Bonus Box Tops we could find. When we got there, we found a huge selection of General Mills products with Bonus Box Tops. Yummy cereals like Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Trix, Reese’s, as well as Nature Valley Granola Bars. We really couldn’t decide, so we just got them all!
I hope that by generating a little buzz about the Box Tops program really helps families understand just how big of an impact they can make in their communities. Especially with products you are most likely already buying. So next time you go to Walmart, or your local grocery store of choice, don’t forget to buy General Mills with Bonus Box Tops! You won’t regret it!
