Imaginista DIY Tie-Dye Review

 

My girls are very crafty! We are always looking for new things to craft. They make great git ideas as well. Everyone loves to know you thought about them any time of the year, but the holidays seem to make it extra special. My oldest daughter is 11 and it’s hard to find crafting kits that fit her age. It seems as though a lot of them are targeted towards a younger crowd. Which is fine, since I have a 3 year old as well. 

I was super excited when I found out about Imaginista. They have a huge verity of crafting kits for girls that are for a little bit of an older bunch.  We were lucky enough to get a D.I.Y Tie Dye kit. It comes with everything you need to turn a dull white t-shirt into a trendy tasseled tote. Sounds cool, right?

Tie and soak shirt in special soda ash, for a super vibrant finish. Use gloves, dyes, and squeeze bottles to dye your shirt. Once dry, follow the instructional booklet to cut and tie t-shirt into a no-sew tote bag. Decorate the bags fringe with over 75 beads. Braid leftover t-shirt pieces into funky bangles! How cute! 

The instructions are super easy to follow thankfully. These crafts are perfect for hand-and-eye coordination as well as number and pattern recognition, making learning such skills fun for anyone.
