For whatever reason, this Lalaloopsy doll was the only thing my daughter asked for this year. This is what she wrote in her letter to Santa, and this is what she told her Grandma she wanted. I’m not sure where she first saw this doll, but I’m sure on a commercial of one of her cartoon shows. Who knows.
This doll is super cute on a Lalaloopsy level and come with quite a few accessories. She is made of an extremely hard plastic and goes great in the bathtub. At least that’s what my daughter thinks anyway.
I think it’s hilarious that a doll that poops charms is so appealing to kids. Especially girls. I always think of poop as more of a boy thing, but who am I to judge? I was surprised to find out how she actually “poops” the charms. they are actually under thin layer of some kind of paper and when the diaper gets wet, it turns into a gooey gel. Then the charm appears.
It wasn’t the cleanest of jobs, but I guess that’s the nature of poop. It never is… Though the pooping of the charms is a one time thing (per diaper) the diapers are reusable. You can purchase diaper refills separately and collect all of the charms on a cute little bracelet. Genius marketing at it’s best!
Overall this is a great doll. It’s cute, durable and poops! What more could you ask for? Check out the whole Lalaloopsy collection for yourself and let me know what you think. Would you get your kids a doll that poops charms? I would love to hear it!
