Learn Better With LeapFrog

As a future teacher, I’m always on the hunt for things that will make learning easier and more enjoyable for children. It’s a proven fact that when a child enjoys something, it’s easier for them to learn and build with it. This is why students who enjoy math are better at math, but students who hate math aren’t as great as it as they could be. The makers at Leapfrog have got this down to a T! Here are a few of their products that work very well for motivating kids to learn!

The LeapPad Platinum Tablet: This adorable tablet comes in either green or purple. It has a 7-inch touch screen and a sleek design, perfect for little eyes and growing hands. It even has Wifi! But don’t worry, the browser is kid-safe and LeapFrog’s learning experts have approved everything on it. You can choose from hundreds of games, e-books, videos, apps, and more to make the best learning product for your child. This tablet is super durable and your child is sure to love everything it has to offer – which is a lot!

LeapFrog Imagicards: These little guys are games you can get for your child to play on their Platinum Tablet. The good news is, there is no “game cartridge”. You can download the games to your child’s tablet without having to worry about losing the cartridge and any future game play. Imagicard offers a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle game, which has your children building their math skills while on the race to recover the lost mutagen. It offers Letter Factory adventures, which has your children playing mini games at a carnival to help them match rhymes, and open treasure chests to spell words! Last but not least, there is a great PAW Patrol game available where your child will build math skills by helping out the pups from PAW Patrol with matching shapes, deploying to missions, and working on their number skills. These games use characters and situations that kids already know and love to keep them engaged but also learning a lot more than they might think! You can play these games on LeapPad Ultra, LeapPad2, LeapPad3, and of course the LeapPad Platinum.

The Word-Whammer: This learning toy will bring you back to the 90’s! Except not really. The controls totally remind me of the ‘Bop-it’ toy that used to be super popular. This is a great little gadget that helps your children with their reading and spelling skills, also while helping them develop their fine motor skills by twisting, spinning, and blasting the handles and levers on it. The Word Whammer adjusts to your child’s abilities, which is a great feature that guarantees your child is getting the most out of their learning.

LeapFrog has got it down – I mean seriously, it’s like they’ve thought of EVERYTHING! These toys are absolutely perfect for learning but also great for just having fun.
