Little Tikes Cozy Coupe Sandbox Review

As we all know, I am a huge fan of Little Tikes toys. The quality and the designs win me over every time. I can’t stress enough how well they really do hold up. Especially when you have a rambunctious toddler jumping, climbing, throwing and and going crazy with her toys.

Some fun in the sun is our favorite way to spend the day. Josephine and I love to head out back to enjoy the nice weather while it’s still around. Why is it that Summer never lasts as long as Winter… Ugh! Anyway, since I am on the computer quite a bit I like to make sure she has plenty of things to keep her busy. Little Tikes toys is the way to go. They have such a wide variety of items that allow your kids to use their imaginations. There are so many toys nowadays that “think” for your kids and the kids just sorta watch.

Nothing says fun and imagination like a good old fashion sand box! Little Tikes recently debuted their Cozy Coupe Sandbox ($59.99) which is exactly what our patio needed. And since we are a racing family this race car looking design fit right in.

Little Tikes Cozy Coupe Sandbox Review

This adorable face sandbox will hold up to 350 pounds of sand and includes a removable lid that covers the sand area when not in use. Which is perfect for those rainy days that seem to keep happening. The Cozy Coupe Sandbox is also equipped with two cup holders and two built in seats. Perfect for those afternoon playdates!

The best part was the assembly… There wasn’t any! It came in a large box and all I had to do was pull it out, dump in the sand and it was ready to go! Which is great when you have an impatient 3 year old who is more than ready to play with her new toys. You can find sand just about anywhere. We got ours at Lowes and it was right around $3 a bag. We needed 4 bags which I believe was right around 200 pounds. I didn’t want to fill it too high to leave some room for lots of toys.

Look who else came to play! It’s Hammy the hamster. Who says it has to be just for kids?
