There are so many things I love about this Oonies starter pack. For starters, there’s no screws, no glue and no mess! The Oonies inflator has just 3 pieces and everything just snaps together. Josephine is six and was able to assemble it perfectly.
To assemble, simply place the Oonie Inflator on top of the green base. That’s it!
Inflate each Oonie with easily by placing an Oonies Pellet in the Oonies Inflator and turn it to the locked position. Push down the bright orange handle and begin inflating by pumping the blue handle. The pink nob on top of the Oonies Inflator is a gage to show you how big your Oonie is growing.
In case you’re wondering, Oonies Pellets are squishy like a soft rubber and blow up like a balloon. Using the Oonies inflator you can inflate Oonies that magically stick together, making creating a lot of fun and easy!
Josephine and I had such a great time creating many Oonie creatures. She had the wonderful idea of making Valentine’s Day creatures with their new theme packs.
Since they have a tacky feel, they just stick right to the tree. And I know what you’re thinking – “Who wants sticky toys all over the place?” I will be the first to tell you, Oonies leave no residue. Pinky promise!
Look at these cuties! Josephine had such a great time making Oonies cuties.
If you’re looking for a fun toy that will encourage the use of imagination and creativity, Oonies is where it’s at. Plus, there’s no screen time involved. Nothing interactive. No codes needed. No websites to visit. Just kids having some good old fashion fun. The kind where our kids actually have to use their brains, you know, like we had to. HA!
