We can all feel the stress of everyday life struggles. Kids, work, relationships, finances… the list could go on and on. When stress arises relaxation is the best medicine! I love doing DIY beauty treatments as a heavy form of relaxation. One of my favorites is doing my own hair masks. When your hair looks and feels good, you feel good. Plus doing everything yourself is so much cheaper than paying those high salon prices. You never really know what it is you are paying for.

Using olive oil in your hair can do amazing things! It is no longer just for cooking. Olive oil adds moisture, sheen and shine to help prevent and manage split ends. Plus it tames those fly aways that we all hate so much.

Massage 2 tablespoons into your hair and scalp evenly. It’s important to make sure all of your strands are covered as well as your scalp. Massaging your scalp is a great trick for stimulating your hair for awesome growth. Plus it feels amazing! Once your hair and scalp is fully saturated, wrap your head in a warm towel. Leave it wrapped for at least 20 minutes allowing the oil to soak deep into the hair strands. Wash your hair as usual. This might take more than once to remove most of the oil. It usually takes me two washes to get it all out. Let your hair air dry and watch your hair shine! Letting your hair air dry naturally is always the best. Too much heat can be very damaging. Repeating this treatment every 2 weeks or so and you will see great results. You will notice less breakage and less split ends almost instantly.

So give your hair the treatment it deserves and keep your money where it belongs!
