Last week I went and bought some groceries for a man who is homeless and is staying in a van by the river here. He has ways to cook but couldn’t afford food. I couldn’t stand seeing him trying to sell the little he owns just to get some food so we went shopping!

I made my mom a photo book from shutterfly filled with pictures of her and my kids. It’s not her birthday or any special occasion. I just wanted to do something special for her since she has done so much for me and my family.

Once when we were at a restaurant a lady was there with her kids, she had 3. I overheard the mother tell her children they didn’t have much money so order cheap. I told our shared waiter to tell them to order whatever they wanted, b/c someone was paying their tab. The lady wanted to know who it was but I didn’t want her to know b/c sometimes people will be like no don’t pay for my food. It was a ‘just because’ moment I am proud of.

I bought my little brother $500 worth of stuff just because. I had been saving the money but when he asked for it I threw caution into the wind and gave it to him (:

I went over and cleaned my DIL’s house up before a birthday party she was giving for the grandkids. She was called away to a meeting at school and didn’t have time to get it done.

I make meals for my kids and invite them over different times just because I love them and want to. I make and give of food, cookies and edible items all the time to different people just because to tell them someone cares. They appreciate a home cooked meal and it makes me feel good helping someone

I do “just because” things everyday. They aren’t big but they do leave impressions. I open doors, pick things up when people drop them, give homeless people a dollar or 2, smile at people walking by, basically anything to help a fellow person out.
Missi saysOctober 17, 2013 at 4:37 pm
Aww I love that!! We need more of those “little things” in the world
