Pumpkin Spice Dough Recipe
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup salt
- 2 tsp cream of tartar
- 1/2 tsp coconut oil
- yellow food coloring
- red food coloring
- 1 tsp ground cloves
- 1 tsp imitation pumpkin spice
Since you do have to use the cooktop, I recommend adult supervision when making this pumpkin spice dough. It’s better to be safe!
Pour water, coconut oil and cream of tartar and salt into a large pot over medium heat. Add 10 drops of yellow food coloring and 2 drops of red. Adjust your colors as you desire.
Once the salt has dissolved, add pumpkin spice and stir well.
Begin folding flour into the pot. It will become dough pretty quickly. Add cloves and remove from heat.
Place the dough ball on a floured surface to cool and a workable temperature. Once cooled, begin kneading dough until it becomes smooth and ready to play with – which should take long.
