Disclaimer: I received some awesome SoCozy products as compensation for this post, but as usual, my opinions are truthful and not edited by the sponsor!
“Wake up, hurry to get the kids up, run downstairs, make breakfast, run back upstairs to get the kids up again, serve breakfast, then deal with two girls with hair issues… A typical morning in the Perez household.”
Like everything in our household, us Mom’s (and Dad’s) make decisions everyday about what products to use to clean our dishes, floors, etc. But how many times have we taken the time to read the label of the shampoos and conditioners we let our kids use? Using SoCozy hair products on my kids made realize just how much we sometimes focus on using the right dishwasher soap, but not a healthy conditioner.
I’m not sure about your kids, but every night or morning when my kids take a bath, it can be a bit of a circus, as my oldest takes forever and enjoys singing while showering, but my youngest hates getting her hair wet, so it’s always a fun part of the day —not. Thankfully the SoCozy Boo conditioner comes in an attractive and easy-to-grip container that both of them can handle, but the magic of SoCozy Boo conditioner goes far beyond just its looks.
With school being back in session, lice-prevention is key. Make sure you talk with your littles about not sharing hats, sweaters or brushes if they can help it. If they don’t really listen (like mine) there is SoCozy Boo conditioner! It features a clinically-proven and non-toxic formula that scares away lice… naturally. If you’ve ever dealt with one of your kids coming back home from school or camp with lice, you realize just how important this is. On top of that, my youngest suffers from extremely sensitive skin (like her Dad) and we have to be really careful about ingredients or fragrances in hair and skin products, thankfully the SoCozy Products are also Fragrance-Free. It does contain clean scents of natural ingredients, but zero alcohol-based fragrances, which is key to sooth the scalp, hair and even body.
I am a big advocate for having healthy and natural products inside the home, that being said, I’m not a germophobe, and I believe that going overboard or too far overboard in either direction can have negative consequences. But there is nothing extreme or “fancy” about using healthy hair products on your kids, specially when they are fairly priced. An 8-oz. bottle of SoCozy Boo conditioner retails for $14.50, and by using only a small dollop of it per shower, it is bound to last you just as long as bigger bottles of the other stuff.
My mornings are still just as hectic, but now I feel like a better mom for sending my girls to school looking better, feeling better and with healthier hair!
