Moments to Savor with Tradewinds Tea
I just. Love. Summer. I mean, what’s not to love? I literally count down the days once the New Year has come and gone, until I can feel the glorious sun shining down on my face once again. For me, the warmer the weather, the better! I’m sure you wouldn’t believe me, when I tell you that I still use the seat warmers in my car on 70 degree days, but I do. I hate being cold.
That being said, one of my favorite characteristics of summer is the pure joy of being in the outdoors. You can do so many more activities outside, and eating out in the open is the absolute best. Nothing says summer like a comfy tank top, toes out in the open, and firing up the grill with a nice cold glass of iced tea. Ahhhh.. now that’s living the good life, my friends.
When I was growing up, I remember my Grandpa always having a huge glass jar sitting in the sun making the best sun tea imaginable, and another waiting in the fridge ready to quench thirst on-command. It seems as though many of my adolescent summertime memories involve some sort of iced tea.
Now that I have kids of my own, and a much busier lifestyle than my grandparents had, I’m glad I found a tea that I believe in, and I can share with my family at meal time. The Tradewinds Slow-Brewed Iced Tea line, is exactly what I have been looking for, since it’s slow-brewed using real tea leaves, which means it doesn’t taste all artificial. This delicious tea comes in a variety of flavors like Raspberry, Hint of Lemon, Green Tea with Honey, Sweet Tea, and Unsweet Tea (you can see the complete list of tea flavors here). I’m kind of old school, so I prefer to drink a glass of unsweet tea myself, though my family loves the Raspberry.
“Hint: Add fresh or frozen fruit to your glass, and make your very own Tradewinds Tea cocktail.”
Tradewinds Slow-Brewed Iced Tea is available in 18.5 oz bottles, or my favorite—gallon sizes, which means that’s one less thing I have to keep stocking the fridge with. Woo!
Now I can continue the summer time tea tradition with my family, but with a lot more convenience. Simply pour a Tradewinds Slow-Brewed Iced Tea over a glass filled with ice, throw some steaks on the grill, and you have yourself the perfect afternoon. Invite your friends and family over and share a refreshing glass of iced tea with them as well. Shhhh—You don’t even have to tell them it’s not homemade, and don’t worry, your secret is safe with me!
Want to try some for yourself? I figured you would, and lucky for you, Tradewinds Tea is available nationwide! Be sure to find a retailer near you. I always see Tradewinds Tea at my local grocery store being featured in a center aisle, so be sure to take a look there.
