57 Household Uses for Vinegar

With so many household uses, vinegar is a super tool for sure. Make sure you keep your pantry stocked up with plenty of White and Apple Cider vinegar and you will always be prepared for just about any of your home’s needs. Here is a list of ways vinegar can be used around your house. How do you use vinegar at home?

    1. Spray vinegar along doorways to keep ants away
    2. Treat stained Tupperware stains with vinegar
    3. Shine porcelain sinks
    4. Pamper your skin by blotting it on with a cotton ball
    5. Treat a bee sting by pouring some un-distilled vinegar on it
    6. Relieve sunburn by lightly rubbing it with vinegar
    7. Boil better eggs by adding 2 TB vinegar to the water – keeps them from cracking
    8. Make fluffier pancakes by adding 2 TB of vinegar
    9. Make all purpose cleaners by pouring with equal parts into a spray bottle
    10. Clean dirt off your computer and mouse with a little vinegar and a q tip
    11. Clean your drains with vinegar and baking soda
    12. Wipe away mildew
    13. Clean and polish chrome and stainless steel
    14. Use as a fruit wash-rinses away germs
    15. Erase ballpoint-pen marks
    16. Erase crayon marks from clothes
    17. Remove stickers and price tags
    18. Disinfect cutting boards
    19. Unset old stains
    20. Soak out blood stains
    21. Keep cut fresh flowers fresh

    39. Wash away mildew from your shower curtain
    40. Put the sparkle back in your china
    41. Remove mineral deposits from shower heads
    42. Whiten your grout
    43. Clean a coffee maker
    44. Remove stains from pots and pans
    45. Help bruises heal faster by applying a little vinegar
    46. Sooth a soar throat by gargling 1 Tb of apple cider vinegar with 1 tsp of salt
    47. Soften your cuticles
    48. Clean your toothbrushes
    49. Erase scorch marks
    50. Use it as fabric softener
    51. Clean the shower head
    52. It’s a great window/mirror cleaner mixed with equal parts water
    53. Clean mildew off of a wooden fence
    54. White vinegar is great for sunburns
    55. Get stubborn blackened burned pots clean
    56. Use as a rinse agent in the dishwasher
    57. Wipe down your furniture for a nice polish

    My dog likes to dig on the couch or try to rip up sheets. Spray the area with equal part vinegar and water – and she stops right away!

    I liked the list of uses but without knowing how to use it for each of those purposes then its not really usable…for example how do you get those black pots clean using vinegar? just wipe on? soak? some more information on how to use it would be good as well as the list of how it can be used is all I am saying..
