2016 Honda Civic – The Cool & Efficient Compact Family Sedan

Aug 4 by 3 Comments

“I’m the proud owner of a 2012 Honda Civic, and with countless Honda Accords currently owned by family members, I was more than excited to drive the all-new 2016 Honda Civic. Yet, part of me feared that its modern look and grown up specs had killed the Civic’s simple character.”

2016 Honda Civic – The Cool & Efficient Compact Family Sedan

I recently had the pleasure of spending an entire week behind the wheel of a range-topping 2016 Honda Civic Touring. My first couple of days were filled with pleasant surprises as I got to know the car and all of its features, while the rest of the week was spent wrapping my mind around a $27,335 price tag on a Honda Civic.

That’s a lot of money, but then again, the Touring model comes with every feature and option in Honda’s catalog. Should you not want everything plus the kitchen sink, the base model Civic starts at an affordable $18,640. Personally, if I were to run to my nearest dealership and buy one right now (which I’d love to), I’d opt for the Honda Civic EX-L with Honda Sensing. It offers most of the Touring’s features with the exception of: Passenger side power seat, LED headlights, heated rear seats, and premium audio system. Considering my current Civic is a base model, I’m sure I could live without such luxuries just fine.

I could sit here and write all about the Civic’s highlights, and trust me; there are many. Instead, we created a video for your viewing pleasure!

A large and rugged country requires a large and rugged vehicle.
