2017 Honda Ridgeline + 6 States + 2 Countries = 1 Epic Road Trip

Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, Canada and Michigan. About 1,000 miles in a couple of days with the entire family onboard a 2017 Honda Ridgeline Black Edition AWD. What could possibly go wrong?

Well, lots of things, but thankfully none of them did. Except for our oldest’s car-sickness of course, but we’re already used to that! Our goal was to get from our home in Indianapolis to Niagara Falls as quickly as possible, that way we’d have more time to enjoy in the great State of New York. We quickly strapped in the DVD players, loaded up the freaking-awesome built-in trunk, entered our destination on the navigation system, and off we went! Click here to read about our trip!

Not only did our Ridgeline Black Edition look like it was designed by Batman, but it moved as quickly as some of his bat-creations too. More importantly, it moved efficiently, and comfortably. This trim’s leather-appointed seats, suite of technology and safety features, and genius cargo characteristics made it the perfect vehicle to tackle our ambitious weekend road trip.

We created a short video to show you the features that made our trip totally awesome, especially the dual-function tailgate and built-in trunk. Check it out!

While we put a ton of highway miles and hours in the Ridgeline during our trip, we actually only spent a couple of days with it, which means we’ll get to take a second at it look later this year. We’ll bring you more Honda goodness when we do!

2017 Honda Ridgeline

  • Starts at: $29,475
  • Price as tested: $43,700
