Making these Oatmeal M&M Cookies is a great way to help teach the younger kids about their colors. You could say things like “can you please help me find the red ones”. You can also throw in some counting action like “add 4 M&M’s”. They will have so much fun they won’t even realize they are learning.
Freshly baked cookies are the stuff childhood dreams are made of and these Oatmeal M&M Cookies are no exception. Whip up a quick batch today! Your kids will definitely thank you for it.

Chill the dough for 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
With the help of your hands form small balls of dough, placing them 2 inches apart.
Take to the oven and bake for 10 minutes or until done.
Keep in mind, when taking out of the oven they will look undone and soft but after a couple of minutes cooling down they will get firm.
Remove from the oven and let them cool before serving.
